Trick or Treat

Last year, Aquarius talked about Trick or treat. Last night I had three groups of people round, none of whom I'd classify as suitably aged for receipt of treats (i.e. too old). And because I was in an incredibly bad mood I gave them "treats".

One of the three couples (two 16 year old boys) took the oranges without comment, which showed remarkable maturity. I also called them back to give them some money. When the other two groups (one, a girl and a boy indeterminate age, the other two boys, one 16-ish the other 11) mumbled their complaint (oh, they are not so bold after that initial "Trick or Treat"), I pointed out they were quite welcome to come back on Halloween (they weren't really) and I might have something more to offer.

Later, still being in a very bad mood, and contemplating a future Vitamin C deficit, I shot a lot of Germans with a sniper rifle, crashed a plane into the ground five seconds after take off (I'd never flown one before) and got killed by a Panzer tank with attitude.
