The sky+ box is set (for Saturday and Sunday on BBC3), the video has been set too. A friend has been asked to keep a copy, just in case.
For you see, the Doctor’s most evil nemesis is after me. Tomorrow I and the rest of the family are jetting off to Ireland to see my wife’s parents. And the Mother-In-Law has threatened not to let me watch it! It’s not like the football where you can go down to the pub to watch it.
I’ll save the day somehow, and my wife tells me she used to watch Doctor Who every week during the Baker/Davision era. Wish me luck.

Who am I kidding, you all know everything right? Okay, did you know that Peter Kay is excited by the new Doctor Who series and wants to appear in the next series as Davros? Reckons he’s got the experience based on his role as Brian Potter. He was, however, incredulous that the Doctor “was a scally”.
You can listen to a new trailer and the whole thing as Peter Kay was on Noddy Holder’s show when he stood in for Mark Radcliffe on Monday. “Listen again until Monday”:http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/networks/radio2/aod.shtml?radio2/r2_radcliffe_mon.
btw, sorry if the RSS feeds keep changing and you get the whole lot appearing in your aggregator. I’ve been sticking in some plugins and they change the format a bit and this causes the aggregator (bloglines at least) to think they are new articles. New features include live comment preview, subscription to comments (so you get an email when someone else comments on the post you’ve commented on), and my del.icio.us links gets grouped together by day and dumped as a new entry into this weblog. Which is sort of the best of both worlds for a link log, I think.
