My First Weblog
Rescued from the dead, I republished vent of hearing, my very first weblog.
What with all the talk about “Blogger”:www.blogger.com and its new templates, I looked it up, managed to remember my username and password, and found all the old posts still there. Praise Blogger.
My first ever weblog post was “12th July 2000″:http://www.dellah.com/blogger/vent/2000_07_01_ach.html#459685, and the last to that weblog was “10th September”:http://www.dellah.com/blogger/vent/2000_09_01_ach.html#809344. It was a shame that “3rd September”:http://www.dellah.com/blogger/vent/2000_09_01_ach.html#759264 wasn’t the last one, as it has a lovely cliffhanger end of series feel to it. What is obvious from the last entry is that my daughter consumed life for the next few months.

bq. It is amazing to think that within Gina there is a brand new person waiting to get out. The nature of reproduction is quite remarkable. Last night, I held my ear to Gina’s bump and could hear a tiny heartbeat. Gina was quite disappointed that she couldn’t do the same, although she thought that she could feel something.
Tonight, that brand new person stayed up extra late because she wouldn’t stop talking about all the things she had done that day.
