Christopher Eccleston Interview

May 6th, 2004

BBCi has a video interview with Christopher Eccleston online.

It makes me tremdously excited and interested about the new series. We have a serious actor who is reading a Doctor Who Bible (I’m not sure which particular tome he is referring to here) to get the background of the character (he is going to be busy; I’ve spent quite a few years researching the history). Plus he’s a Manc and you can’t go wrong if you play the Doctor with a Salford accent, can you?

Shame he forgot about Colin Baker, mind.

Not at all, Colin Baker’s portrayal is best forgotten!

Haven’t listened to the interview yet, so I guess he *might* have forgotten to be derogatory….
