Ronaldo seems as flashy as denilson but focused on getting a good cross in not just looking good
doing it. It’s too bad that his parents named him after Ronald Reagan the ex us pres..
instead of the other ronaldo, strong fast deadly finisher.

Djemba Djemba, not good enough, but they named him twice anyway.

I am certain he (Ronaldo) will be a world class player in a couple of years time. Against Fulham he really toned down the step overs, tackled back (to some extent) and put in a number of good crosses. After watching Porto I think the culture over in Portugal is to fall over and he has to be taught not to do that over in England.

Verrry anoraky now.

Yes, if Camara could have hit a barn door that night, and he had two chances thst anyone’s granny could have made a better stab at, Wolves could have won it. Utd only looked anything like right when Giggs and Scholes came on mid second half. Early season Ferguson complacency perhaps, but Utd did in fact win.

Highlights for me: Utd fans singing “F off to the Nationwide” and Wolves fans singing “You’re not the real Ronaldo”. What a waste of 27 quid.

I remember that game (on Sky) and yes, United were very lucky that night. If Camera (if you say; I can’t remember the name) had put away one of the miriad of chances that were given him, you could have got 6 points from us. I did expect a hatful after we scored so early, but it never happened.

I seem to remember Ronaldo falling over his white boots a couple of times, running into Wolves players and not doing a lot at all on that night. I believe a bit of a clanger was dropped letting the boy run out without someone solid alongside him that night. He could have ended up looking a right plonker.

In fact the foriegn import that impressed that night was Henri Camara who seemed to scare the Man U defence everytime he ran at them. I honestly believe Man U where lucky to win that night Wolves should have at least picked up their first point at Old Trafford that night.

Oh and there was a memorable Molinuex return as well marking the demise of the Manchester United defence.

LOL.

I saw Utd vs Wolves this year and watched Ronaldo throughout the warm up. Fantastic ball skills. All the Wolves players were in the other half at the tiime though.

Highlight of the evening really, apart from 17 misdirected passes from the Djemba twins.
