The Chainsaw Ballet
On Child of Our Time last night :-
bq. I was fleetingly worried for Calvin, who seemed like a solitary, withdrawn child, but when we saw him dressing up in his sister’s ballet outfit and brandishing a plastic chainsaw, I realised that he was destined for greatness.
“Child of Our Time”:http://www.bbc.co.uk/parenting/childofourtime/ was great viewing for parents. Especially as we have a child just a bit younger than the ones featured on the programming, so we can tell what is coming up soon.

Yep, Niamh’s about four months younger than them, so it was fascinating. I shall be trying out the thing with the coins and the “wait for five minutes and get more sweets” test

bah, you guys always seem to get the coolest shows, and then years later we might see a cheap rip off via the yanks. bah!

We tried the coins last night and Em was just like the kids who didn’t know that someone else could have a point of view. She nearly got the hang of it.
I think, however, we shouldn’t have used a sweet instead of a coin. The game kept being eaten.
