Bayesian Filtering and RSS

bq. My problem is information overload. I’m much more interested in seeing the same thing for RSS. Instead of blocking stuff I don’t want I want it to highlight the stuff I might want.

Very definately a feature I’d like to see. I’m not up with how Bayesian Filtering actually works deep down inside, but if it can make inroads into the tough problem of spam, then using it for such a productive purpose should be no problem (given that spam fighting is an arms race and finding stuff I like in a vast amount of data isn’t).

I’ve got over 300 unread RSS entries in SharpReader at the moment. All, are from feeds that don’t provide the full text. This is most likely where RSSBayes would fall over, as not every one is going to provide a proper summary.
