MMR jab is safe

Thursday, June 13th, 2002

BBC News | HEALTH | ‘No evidence’ MMR jab is unsafe

“The most in-depth analysis to date has cleared the controversial MMR vaccine of any link to autism or bowel disease.”

The problem is not that scientific research hasn’t previously said that the MMR jab is safe, but that the UK public fails to believe anything they are now told on this subject. Tarred with the governmental spin brush, scientists do not sound credible to many people.

For example :-

“David Potter, head of autism policy and information at the NAS, said: “How can scientists explain to parents the coexistence of these symptoms in their children? ”

Should they have to? Shouldn’t it be the other way round. Prove that these two coexisting symptions are linked.
