A close shave

“The probability is actually quite high that a Tunguska-sized object will hit us in our lifetimes.”

I think we shouldn’t be too worried about this. We should be able to pick up larger objects. Whether we pick them up in time, or have measures to deal with it, is another matter.

Debunking Creationism

June 21st, 2002

15 answers to Creationist Nonsense is a very well reasoned article. In the current climate where more and more creationist “scientists” are making themselves heard (i.e. the schools that are teaching Creationism) it is good to see an article where the points are discussed.

I can see any anything from the creationist side being as well reasoned, but when do reason come into the thinking?

“I have no intention of paying a salary to someone who has ruined Italian soccer.”

It’s good to see what good sports the Italians are.

World Cup Blog is a blog following the world cup. Nuff said, really.

Bit US-centric (but not too bad at all considering how well they are doing). Seems to have kicked off over the Italy defeat. (btw, although Totti was unfairly sent off, Italy deserved to go. Korea were trying. )
