The acts commenced on this ball of earth: Upon my tongues continual slanders ride,
It is 3am and the only way George will sleep is if I continually walk up and down the living room at a consistent and slow pace.
An hour earlier my wife was doing the same, but tiredness has defeated her, and I heroically jump out of bed to take on the burden, not wanting thanks, but happy to help out in her darkest of hours.
Sorry, I'm dreaming again. What really happened was that at 2:45 Gina had finally gotten George to sleep, had put him into his cot and climbed into bed. Twenty seconds later, George was crying again. I was really tempted to leave him there. It really is the best way to get over this hurdle, but Gina was exhausted and I was worried that he would wake Emilia up if he carried on and got louder. So, I stumbled out of bed, fell over a chair, got up, dusted myself down, picked up George and went downstairs.
It was shortly after he closed his eyes that I realised I needed the toilet.
(note: I have a number of missing dates from the journal. Rather than go back in time, and back fill, I've decided to make the interesting things Vent items. Thus, I can pretend I am uptodate)
